SEO Case Study: How ordinary security Company been top in Auckland, New Zealand


SEO stands for Search Engine Optimization. It is part of digital marketing. In other words, SEO is one of the leading marketing strategies. If you run proper SEO campaign for your website, this work can bring great impact for your business. In this case study, I will illustrate a success stories for a security company in New Zealand.   

12 October 2015,

Philip sent mail to Jeremy regarding SEO work and described situation of his business. They were spending over $1000 for their paid marketing. However it was not bring enough profit for their business. Their competitor led maximum security services in Auckland and Wellington. In these circumstances, they were looking great SEO Services Company in Auckland, New Zealand.  

Jeremy took necessary login details regarding their website, marketing campaign.

Jeremy made a report of their website:

1.       Lack of on page stuff: There website had not basic SEO set up. They had 128 webpages with duplicate title, meta descriptions, keyword.

2.       No Off page work , at all

Jermy , SEO consultant at Dynamic Web Solutions, made 6 month work plan for that security company. He tried to run google adwords and SEO work parallel way.

Tuning Adwords Account: Jermy and his team did deep research on security services keyword and trend. They set up more effective and targeted keyword for adwords account. Besides, they updated few negative keywords.

On Page SEO: They started working to write unique and effective page title and Meta description with target keywords. They did some basic on page seo as well, for example: highlight target key phrase, Inter-linking to each pages, using h1,h2 tag, updated xml site map.

Their most priority work was social bookmarking , local directory submission, web 2.0 blog post, guest blogging, video submission, relevant blog comment for getting backlinks,  slide sharing , press release submission, pod cast submission and more.

They were working for more than 100 keywords.

In this stage, they were getting very good output from their SEO work. They got rank for few keywords and most of keywords came under 30 positions. Beside, sales inquiries that time They decide to make adwords money $500 from $1000 each month.

They got massive success for that security company. They got top1 position for highly competitive keywords, 44 keywords in top10 and rest keywords were increasing too.

What should be next

Security industry is very competitive in New Zealand. They need to run basic seo work to keep search rank for long time. We already suggest some of work and work packages. Hope, we will make new contract for regular seo stuff.

Suggestion for Business owner

Digital marketing is very important for small business or small to mid-business. I would like to suggest all of business owner to run paid and seo work parallel way. When you guys get position for target keyword, they it will be easy to swipe adwords money for other keyword.
